Wisdom is the principal thing; Therefore get wisdom. And in all your getting, get understanding. _ Proverb 4:7 (NKJV)
God wants us to use wisdom in all we do and in every decision we make. God actually speaks to us through wisdom. If you are about to make an important decision, ask yourself, “Is it wisdom for me to do this?” We should compare the decisions we make to the Word of God. Our decisions should line up with God’s Word. The Bible says, “For the LORD gives wisdom; from his mouth come knowledge and understanding (Proverbs 2:6, NIV). God will not lead us to do anything that is not wise to do. God is a God of wisdom. If it is not wisdom, it is not God! We need to use wisdom each and every day of our lives. When we fear and reverence God, it is the beginning of wisdom. Psalm 111:10 says, “The fear of the LORD is the beginning of wisdom…” Using wisdom in making decisions will eliminate many of the problems we have to deal with. Many of the problems we face are a result of not using wisdom. This includes financial, relationships, health and so forth. When we need wisdom, all we have to do is ask God.
If any of you lacks wisdom, you should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding fault, and it will be given to you. __ James 1:5 (NIV)

Prayer: Lord God, I pray in the name of Jesus that You will help me to use wisdom in every area of my life. Help me to make decisions that are based on Your Word. I thank you in advance. Amen.
