But as for you, be strong and do not give up, for your work will be rewarded. __ 2 Chronicles 15:7 (NIV)
Everything is not going to be easy in life, but we have to stay in the race. We have to stay in the race of our everyday lives, of things we want to accomplish, things we have to deal with, and people we have in our lives. Situations can get a little difficult at times, but we can’t give up.
When times get tough, hold on. Keep on keeping on. Don’t give up. Keep the faith. Don’t give up on others, don’t give up on your marriage, don’t give up on your children, don’t give up on God, and don’t give up on yourself! Also, don’t give up on your dreams. Hold on to your dreams. You have come too far to give up now. You don’t know what God has in store for you. Be faithful, don’t stop now!
God has everything under control. Lean on Him. Realize that you may be trying to accomplish things in your own strength. Receive God’s amazing grace. God is there for you. He loves you very much and He will never leave you not forsake you. Also, don’t try to push things through that are not in God’s timing. We can’t get ahead of God. We have to wait on the Lord. We can’t make things happen out of His timing. God knows when we are ready for the things we are seeking. Galatians 6:9 (NIV) says, “Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up.
So, don’t give up, your help is on the way!
Prayer: Lord, thank you that I can lean and depend on you when I get discouraged and things get a little tough. Thank you for being there for me in good times and bad times. Thank you for your love. I receive your strength and grace today. In Jesus’ name. Amen.
