To be successful, you need an action plan! Everything you do has to be laid out before you. A plan for success is vital! Without a plan of action, your mind and you go into too many directions. You are all over the place. You are doing a lot, but it seems like you are not making any progress or accomplishing very much.
When you develop a plan of what you want to accomplish and set your goals, you become more focused. Therefore, you make more progress and begin to move forward. A plan helps you see what you want to achieve, and helps you know what direction to take to get to where you want to be.
We need a plan! We need the steps that a plan consists of to guide us. When you step out without a plan, it is like stepping out in the middle of nowhere without a clue of how to get to your destination. It is also like stumbling around in the dark trying to feel your way through the darkness. You are lost in the dark. You reach for anything or anyone you think might help you, but to no avail. You make bad choices because you are desperate. You have setback back after setback and you are not going anywhere. Get a plan, stick with that plan, and come out of the darkness. Get some direction for your dream and begin to soar! As our scripture for today states, “The plans of the diligent lead surely to abundance…”
Prayer: Lord God, I ask you to help me to develop a plan of action, a vision plan, with the help of the Holy Spirit for the dream you have given me. In Jesus’ name I pray. Amen.
