What we do for others are the seeds we are sowing that will produce a harvest in our own lives. All of the good things we do for others are seeds we are planting that will eventually spring up in our own lives. The Bible says in Luke 6:31 (NIV), “Do to others as you would have them do to you.”
Like the title of this post states, “What you make happen for others, God will make happen for you.” Don’t think that when you are helping someone else reach their goals, you are hindering your own progress. Don’t think that you are pushing them ahead of yourself, they are going to be more successful than you are, or that they will have more than you have. That is not true!
Help other people, and in the process you are helping yourself. Don’t do it to receive, but do it out of love, love for others and love for God. Also, according to God’s Word, the Bible, whatever you do to help someone else, you are doing it for the Lord.
The King will answer, ‘Truly I say to you, as you have done it for one of the least of these brothers of Mine, you have done it for Me.’ __ Matthew 25:40 (MEV)
So begin to help others reach their goals and God will help you reach your goals!
Prayer: Father God, as you use me to help others to be all they can be, help me to remember that I am also serving You; and for that I give You praise. I also thank You that whatever I sow, I will reap. Help me to sow good seeds. In Jesus’ name I pray. Amen.
